Financial Review

Meets quarterly and reviews the financial statements of the organization with the Treasurer in attendance to answer questions and provide clarification. The committee reports findings and recommendations to the board of directors. Ideal for those who possess attention to detail and analytical skills. Comfortable reviewing financial statements and making recommendations to ensure financial health.

Fundraising

Chaired by the Vice President and oversees various fundraisers (for student accounts and the general fund) throughout the year. Ideal for energetic individuals with creativity and enthusiasm for working on a team to coordinate various fundraising activities. Excellent communication skills to engage both students and the broader community.

Game Night Meals

On Friday evenings before football games, our band members have a dinner break between rehearsal and game time. This committee is responsible for using funds collected from students to coordinate food orders, and delivery of savory dinner delights... usually pizza. Ideal for reliable individuals with availability on Friday evenings who can pickup/deliver food and/or serve it up in the band room to hungry musicians.

Memory Book

Takes and/or collects pictures from band events and compiles them in a band memory book funded by the sale of dedication pages. Most of the work for creating the memory book happens during the spring. Ideal for those with a passion for photography and/or creativity. Individuals should be adept at capturing special moments during band events and have a flair for design to compile them into a cherished memory book.

Scholarship

Reviews band member scholarship application essays and votes to award scholarships based on merit. Work with this committee happens during the spring. Ideal for individuals with a fair and discerning eye for evaluating essays and determining merit, along with a dedication to supporting student achievement through scholarships.

Band Banquet

Plans and produces the end of the year celebration for our talented musicians and their families. This event offers an array of desserts, snacks, and beverages for attendees to enjoy. The evening is highlighted by a heartwarming presentation, where deserving students are honored with well-deserved awards. Ideal for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for event planning, a flair for creativity, and a commitment to fostering a memorable experience for all involved.
